We use a modified Myers-Briggs personality test to highlight learning strengths and guide our students to dream of their futures, and we arm them with the tools they need to make these dreams come true. | High School & Middle School The Academic Institute, Inc. is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities, as well as the Washington State Board of Education; we have also been approved by the NCAA Clearinghouse. Students can attend full time or part time, during the regular school year or summer, including honors curriculum; no matter what, the student to teacher ratio is never more than 7:1. Many of our students split their time between mainstream schools and TAI, Inc.; many others work with us online or through their home school programs. We can also work with students to replace grades and missing credits. Summer School Summer School 2010 will run from July 12th to August 19th, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We offer a unique classroom for enthusiastic college-bound students working on new classes or grade replacements. We use a specialized Myers-Briggs personality test and individual consultation to help you develop a list of schools that might fit your needs and goals, and we can guide you through the application and decision-making process. Our current students come from Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah, Snoqualmie, North Bend, Seattle & Federal Way. These students are ensuring their education gives them the best chance at being successful for the duration of their personal and professional careers.
Tutoring Our highly capable staff can also work with students to support their school curriculum or provide enrichment. We also provide PSAT, SAT I and II, ACT, ISEE, AP, and other standardized test preparation. We tailor our tutoring to the needs of each student, using the student’s individual strengths to shore up individual weaknesses.
